What is WonderBox?

WonderBox is a premium developmental play kit created to support your child’s growth at every stage. Each box is filled with thoughtfully curated toys tailored to your baby’s age, so they receive the right tools at the right time.

How does WonderBox work?

Simply choose the play kit that matches your child’s age, and continue ordering new kits as your little one grows.

What age groups are WonderBox Play Kits designed for?

Our play kits cater to babies from 0–18 months, with a new box available every two months up to 12 months (0–2, 3–4, 5–6, 7–8, 9–10, and 11–12 months). From 13 months, a new kit is available every three months (13–15 and 16–18 months). Keep an eye on our social media and mailing list for updates as we expand to older age groups.

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver anywhere in South Africa. If you’re based outside South Africa, please contact us to discuss possible delivery options.

How much does shipping cost?

We charge a flat rate of R125 for delivery anywhere in South Africa on normal economy. This excludes what the courier defines as "high-risk" areas. Please refer to our shipping policy for more detail on this. This can by found in our website footer.

How long does delivery take?

Orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days after dispatch. You’ll receive tracking details once your order is on its way.

Are WonderBox toys safe for my baby?

Yes. Each WonderBox toy meets international safety standards (EN71 and ASTM F963) and is finished with eco-friendly, water-based paints. Every item is non-toxic, child-safe, and crafted to the highest quality, so you can feel confident your little one is playing safely.

Do I need to follow Montessori principles to use WonderBox Play Kits?

Not at all. While our play kits are inspired by Montessori principles, they’re designed for every parent who wants to nurture their child’s development - no special knowledge or background required.

What if I receive a damaged item?

If any toy arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery for a replacement. To process this, we’ll need photo evidence showing the damage. Please see our Refund & Returns Policy for full details. This can be located in our website footer.

Can I purchase WonderBox as a gift?

Yes! WonderBox makes a wonderful baby shower or birthday gift. We also offer an array of Gift Card options if you prefer to have the recipient decide when and which play kit they would like to order.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, we offer digital gift cards so parents can choose the perfect play kit for their little one.

Can I customise a WonderBox Play Kit?

Currently, our boxes are pre-curated by experts to ensure each kit supports your child’s exact developmental needs.

How do I contact customer support?

Do you accept returns?

Because of the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns once a box has been opened, unless your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect.
